Shadow what?

Shadow Cities is a location based multiplayer game for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. It's a free game available in the App Store currently in US, Canada and 15 European countries. And yes, it is the world's first truly mobile MMORPG.

In Shadow Cities, you take the role of a modern Mage and join one of the two teams, learning magic and seeing your surroundings with new eyes. Together with your friends you hunt Shadow Spirits and use spells and strategy to battle over the control of your own city and the cities all over the world.

Shadow Cities was developed by Grey Area, a young company out to change the way games are understood as part of the urban setting. We are based in downtown Helsinki, Finland.
