World PvP Event: Anyone interested?

The initial fight that spawned this idea, like Jynxed said was really a lot of fun. We discovered new tactics, new communication and made the game more interesting and added a new angle to playing the game we all enjoy. I will definitely be there and look forward to the fight. I look forward to destroying the GroMod, the green grizzly and any other nonsense you cabbages come up with!

NYC group mages, please post here or in my post somewhere down there in this same section to let the participating mages friend us and use our hosting beacons. CptSteve asked me to help with the event and I posted the mentioned topic.
However, come to think of it. If GA makes this sticky already, can they not also bring in two opposite battle, "healable", beacons at the said time/gateways?

This sounds like an awesome idea and I would love to be in on this fight. Things are really slow where i am as not many people are playing, so it would spice it up for me

Oh, also, Ive been to Central Park an am already getting game-crashing lag (just while warping in, once im there it smooths out) from the preparations alone. Wonder what the odds the server crashes are? Im sure other people have this on their mind.
