Realm Costs and Energy Bonus

The current system is way too expensive. Especially for the reward.
According to the information thread, it costs 50 mana to get to the +2 bonus per dominator. Then another 4950 (bringing the realm value to 5000) to get to +3. That extra bonus, across 6 dominators is, well, worth just 6 energy. Compare that to finishing one hunt for a red/green/blue spirit for 10 -- which might take 5 minutes.
And the real $ cost?
The most expensive mana is about ~14.3 cents each (7 for $1 or 35 for $5) and the cheapest is ~6.7 cents.
So, the first bonus costs $3.35 to $7.15 (or winning one round). 50 isn't hard to get to. So, that's not unreasonable.
The second bonus -- at 5,000 mana costs exactly 100 times that.
That's right -- from $335 USD to $715 USD. Or winning 100 rounds. (~ 3 rounds per week means about 34 weeks, or nearly 8 months of being at the top of the leader board. Good luck.)
What's the point? That's completely unbalanced with the cost of the first bonus.
And what's the point of silver -- at 500 mana -- when it doesn't do anything extra?
My suggestion? Greatly lower the cost of the top level. Maybe have it cost 500 mana -- that's still 10x the first level.
An alternate would be to add more levels and more bonus points. Maybe after the first 50, another point for every 250 or 500 -- with a cap at 5000. That way, the person who spends hundreds USD (or way too much time playing) actually gets something worthwhile -- an extra 10-20 energy per dominator.
Beyond raising the gateway value, there's really very little point to having much mana. Sure, it can be used to heal. But if you play right, you get enough during regular play.

I thought it was 500 and then 5000 not 50... but thats a minor clarification and does not detract from your main point.

AKsoul
its 500 to get it to silver.
the bonus for doms is at 50.
I'm not even getting a +1 bonus. I'll buy one up to 50 as soon as I can and let you know if that is working for me.

Stack, Seil has noted that there may be an issue with the harvest bonus on gates that you own. As Seil has observed, people attached to the owned gateway who are not the owner have been reporting the bonus works as normal, but the owner isn't seeing it.

There are quite a few bugs that GA is still working out before they release the game world-wide. Those of us who join early get to play through that testing period.

Others seeing a bonus was proven false too. It was just low levels with only one or two dominators, meaning they naturally got more.

well I can understand that. I do hope they work it out, a little more priority than the vitality bug I hope.
