The density of gateways depends on the population and size of the city you live in. In more rural areas you won't expect to see as many gateways as in larger cities.

You can check all the gateways that are closest to you from the cloudview. You can enter the cloudview by doing a pinch gesture on the main view.

By expanding your friend network you also increase the amount of beacons you see in the cloudview. By tapping a beacon in the cloudview you can jump to locations and gateways all over the world. Note that you can only see beacons that are summoned by your friends from the same academy as you (Animators or Architects) but not the opposing teams beacons.

If there city you are playing in is lacking gateways you can also email a request to take the city into our next map update to [email protected]. Note that the largest cities are prioritized.

Note that the gateways are activated for countries where Shadow Cities is released. As we release Shadow Cities in new countries the gateways in those countries will be also activated.
