Where can I see a list of all my followers?
Right now the only way to know who your followers are is keep track yourself, though you will be reminded each time your follower reaches a new milestone such as level 8, 10, 12 and 15.
In the future, we’d like to upgrade the feature to track your followers, possibly even on the website. We feel it’s important that Guides are given the proper tools and information to Guide others on their path to become Awakened!
What levels must my followers achieve in order to receive bonus rewards?
When your followers obtain the following levels / titles, you will be rewarded as well with experience, energy and some Mana potions! Below is the milestone that your follower must reach before extra rewards are granted:
Conjurer – Level 8
Guardian – Level 10
Channeler – Level 12
Awakened – Level 15
Why am I unable to name a Guide and earn the Unproven Sigil?
If you were too high of a level when the update was released or reach level 10 before choosing a Guide, the mission will be removed from your mission log. As a result, the Unproven Sigil is unavailable.
We know this is especially annoying for the Sigil collectors of the world. Though we don’t have the specifics, we do intend to allow the Unproven Sigil to be obtainable by everyone.
Why do I receive an Error Message when trying to choose a Guide?
When choosing a Guide, please be aware that certain restrictions exist to prevent undesirable behavior. Most notably you cannot:
• Name yourself as a Guide
• Name another account created by you as a Guide
• Name a Guide using the same device too many times (from any account)
• Name a Guide of an account that was created later than your account
The username field is case sensitive so remember to also write the name exactly as it is written.
Please be sure that none of these conditions are occurring before trying again. If you still cannot name a Guide contact us through the Support Site so that we may investigate further.
Can I name a different Guide after I’ve made my choice?
Choosing a Guide is a one time permanent decision that you can make early into your discovery of magic. While it’s possible this may change in the future, right now we want the decision to be a meaningful one and ask that you choose your Guide wisely.
You may however have many followers! Just lead the way!
Why can’t I tap the button in the new recruitment missions?
If you are unable to tap the button in the mission, ‘Looking for a Guide’ or ‘A Guiding Voice’ this means you have not updated to the latest version of Shadow Cities. To correct this issue, please visit the iTunes App store and make sure you have the latest Shadow Cities update.
Why did I only receive one Guide mission when I know others have chosen me?
You can only complete and be credited for missions such as ‘Guiding the Way’ and ‘Guiding the Conjurer’ once per gaming session. If you believe more mages have chosen you as their Guide, or that more than one of your followers has been granted a new milestone level (such as conjurer) -- you must exit the game and log back in.
You will then be able to complete and be rewarded for the mission, though you will need to do this for each pending follower request and level reward bonus.
