United States Battlegroups combined for 'Winter's Gift' Campaign

Big news mages! We will be removing state based battlegroups from the United States for this week's 'Winter's Gift' campaign.
Starting from today all US mages will be battling together in battlegroups consisting of 1000 mages from all over the States. Due to these changes we will be also having a little longer campaign break than usual.
We are very interested in hearing your thoughts of this change, so please share your feedback!

This is not at all attractive, and coming on the heels of a change that already has experience players questioning if they want to play the game or not.
It's fun having the BG members all be in the same state. We can feel like we're fighting for territory that we know, territory that many of us can drive to if absolutely needed.

Please try to have the Mage count per team even! Not 70% one team over the other.

Will say this.... Potion rewards will be interesting! Seeing top ten scores will be cool! Spider Buffs! More AHCs and in some states like WY they only have 6 players. It will be neat to see. Our local groups should still get to play together...hope so!

Please try to have the Mage count per team even! Not 70% one team over the other.
The server assigns automatically players as evenly as possible to bg's and once the number gets closer to 1000 a new battlegroup is formed. So there will still be several US battelegroups.
Remember also that you are assigned to a new battlegroup every time you first login for a new Campaign Round.

To be clear, just this campaign correct? I'll save my freak out if it's just temporary.

We're testing the change for this campaign to see how it goes and make decisions after this week if we want to make this a permanent change or do possibly other changes to the battlegroups.
