Accidentally using Mana Pots

How about a double tap on the mana button. Most of my accidental hits have been a single tap. Or make the button a swipe, like the slide to unlock button but smaller.

I have a problem when dragging down my spell panel, and instead it uses a mana potion. I don't know if its how I hold it but yeah. Its very annoying.

I would definitely not have a confirm button for mana potions. That would cause a lot of trouble in combat situations.

I hate confirm buttons. I really don't like it to have press three buttons when Im trying to add a person who sent a friend request (1 click - press player, 2 click - press Add Friend, 3 click - Confirm Friend).

I think if they moved the mana pot to the right middle side of the screen perhaps? That would be far enough away from normal button presses or rune strokes so as not to accidently press it.

In my opinion you just get used to it. I've also spent a lot of potions by accident during the beta, but eventually learned my lesson – don't be hasty, get everything under your control .

Took me a while to get used to it too--I kept tapping the mana pot when I wanted to check how much mana I had left--but I don't accidentally quaff a potion so much these days. Still, some sort of failsafe to keep from quaffing when you have a lot of mana left would be really nice.

Double tap sounds like an okay solution.

I'm all in with the doubletap as I've been since the start of beta...

Doubletap!
Doubletap!!
Doubletap!!!

I do not think there should be a confirmation... way too long in the heat of fire. Double tap might work because I usually hit mine when I go brain dead for playing too long and am going to check my attributes. Why do I click the blue bottle? Hell if I know. Probably cause I was watching my mana to see how close it was to being able to call down Flame Strike on the local spirits.

The mana pots should definitely be a double tap. A few times, I've accidentally hit it and even tried to drag my finger away to avoid mana pot usage with no luck.

Given that mana pots are the currency of the game, there has to be some way to prevent this. Sure, it's the source of income for the game, but it'll just infuriate the user base if a huge percent of that income is simply due to tap mistakes.

Double-tapping seems to be the best solution. It's still basically instant in the heat of the battle, but will completely remove accidental hits from adjusting the phone hold, a missed swipe down for the run recognizer, and just bad timing.

It _might_ also be nice to have a configurable setting where it's completely disabled if mana is over a certain percentage. Who hasn't hit it with 90% of their mana left?

Another option, which would make it even faster than single click, is to auto-mana-pot when a spell needs mana but you don't have enough. This might be annoying if you trigger a mana pot with a harvest, but during battle it would help save the failed spell, then mana, then swipe down, then rune gesture that we've all gone through -- and then been banished and lost our mana pot mana completely because we took a fraction of a second too long. (Basically, when you can't tell in advance if you have enough mana or not to cast, you lose a whole casting cycle trying. And that's silly. Especially, again, because mana pots are generally based on real-world currency.) I know it would change the battles quite a bit, but there's still the mana pot timer... so it's not like you'd just be able to cast indefinitely.

Instead of auto-pot when low, I'd rather see a number indicating how much mana I have left on the screen instead of just in my profile.
