WHAT! I am cheesed to no end. We won our round last night, six of us gaining almost 3k points to win the round. (Thankfully I took a screen shot.) Only for me to wake up and see that for some reason the round has been extended. This bites, we really busted our tails last night, to find out that it really didnt matter, only folks it benefited were those getting a batch of pots on top of the leaderboard. Considering deleting this game. (Probably can't as it's full of crack and I cant put it down.)

We're sorry about this! Due to a technical problem the round 1 ended 12 hours too early, which would have caused the round break to be way too long than what's intended.

I, for one, am enjoying the game, especially as I've made some friends here on the forums who are getting me into areas with PvP, but I'd like to see more variety in missions. Or maybe even just having more than 2 {sometimes three if there's a "get to level X" mission involved} going at a time? It was frustrating getting the "go kill an enemy ward" mission twice in a row, when I just failed to even find one, the first time. Of course, I bring this up HERE because I think that having a set of maybe 2 or 3 missions specifically related to the current campaign would help make things more immersive. Say, for example with this one... Do 500 damage to an enemy command beacon, drive off an enemy command beacon and... something. These may be like the level ones, one time rather than recurring and only last the week and could potentially be used to help tell the story of the SC world.

Oh, and one other thought... is it just me, or do the command beacons very nearly constitute a boss battle? I think whomever dealt the last hit may have had a little reward associated with it, xp, energy, whatever. Down the line, how about making it so that reward goes to all who hit participate in a significant fashion? Maybe have it spawn with a ward that occasionally respawns so it can defend itself, in that case, since once we got rid of the Architects who were coming in on it, it was pretty easy, if time-consuming to take down.

I wish there was a way to reject missions. Like the beacon in enemy territory, as I dont have warp maxed yet. On the other hand, I'm happy to say we won the round after all.

High Command beacons are just a way to instigate PvP. They are going to be going to a stronghold, so if you are low level, you shouldn't be considering it anyway unless you have some level 15s that you are backing. If you jump in at too low level you are just giving the opposing faction points. The reward is in the potential energy accumulation from the vast dom arrays and completing PvP missions. I think it has worked fairly well so far as most of us learned to not jump into them unless we were very serious as the Arcanists around here that get the beacons are making a killing. It is definitely a fast track to PvP and for those with a heavy PvP mindset. The beacons have changed the landscape. Change is good.

I will say the changing difficulty has made it more interesting. Gone are the days of looking at 3-Star Missions as a cake walk with the difficulty being finding them. Now I really have to take a look at that fiend and see if I can survive the encounter. Bye bye sleep casting!

These ABCs are ruining the game for me. I am the only player in my area. I spend a good amount of time trying to spread my doms out and within an hour a ABC comes out of no where and its me vs 4+ archs. One day it happened 9 times. Now I just destroy all my units and stop playing. This repeats EVERYDAY. There should be a limit as to how many times an ABC can appear in an area... especially an area where there is little chance of PvP.

Set up a beacon, call all your animator friends to come, set a ward, some catchers, beef everything up with Arias and mana potions. When you're all fully regenned, spead out your doms to lure the beacon. When the Archs return, thinking "Haha, easy pickings again!" swoop in with your army of animators and wipe the floor with their faces.
<_< not to strategize against my team or anything, but that's what I'd do. You could help your team rack up a lot of easy energy if you're able to accurately get those beacons showing up.

5 beacons, harvest all 5, and I end up with 2-3 ABCs that take an hour plus to go away each... multiple times a day, every day this week... serious hate for these ABCs, but all the oranges dying like flies does seem to help my point totals, heh.
