Battle for Sweden is on! Download the free Shadow Cities App from iTunes App Store, choose your side and invite your friends to join the battle over your city.
The second Battle Round of the Unicorn Campaign starts tonight assigning all Mages to new Battlegroups. Read here a short introduction to Battlegroups and check out the game Help section for more detailed info about conquering neighborhoods, speccin' your Mage and other game features.

It's out now! The new Shadow Cities client version 1.1.0 is available to download on Finnish iTunes App Stores. Unicorn is the first Campaign to introduce the new Battlegroup system. Read a short introduction to Battlegroups, what else is new in the new client and known issues & bugs. How do the Battlegroups work? Every Campaign consists of three Rounds. For every Round, players are assigned into new Teams, which are paired against each other, forming 100-player Battlegroups. Each Round lasts for 48 hours and each Campaign consists of three Rounds. You've been banished! Do I need to say more? Here's another sneak peek into the upcoming new Shadow Cities client.
When losing all your Health, you will be returned to your physical location, and banished. The new Banish will also give you a new kind of edge while fighting against local Mages.

In the future Campaigns won't be fought just between the Animators and the Architects, but between Battlegroups.
Besides Battlegroups as a part of the Campaign system we will be also introducing new and improved Comms View.

Here's a little sneak peek to upcoming new Campaign system that introduces Battle Rounds. Instead of week long battles, in the future Campaigns will be divided into three rounds.

While we are still testing out some of the basic game mechanics in the current Shadow Cities client version, we are at the same time putting all our energy into developing our new game client, which will be released with the global launch this spring, starting from the US and perhaps a couple of other countries!
We are really excited about all the cool stuff our game designers have been working on during the past couple of months. Besides new content we will be also changing the focus of the gameplay quite a lot in the new client.
