Perplexity Machine - Control the Power

As more powerful shadow energy bleeds into our world, the complexity required to convert such raw power into usable magic increases exponentially. Only by tapping into the newest technologies, enhanced and driven by the oldest of magics, can either side hope to prove victorious. Which of the two Academy ideologies will serve to provide the greatest edge; the forward-thinking philosophies of the technology-driven Architects, or the ancient wisdom of the Animators, forever-seeking magic long since forgotten?

The 'Perplexity Machine' campaign will begin Monday, March 12 at approximately 5:00 AM PDT and will run for one full week. Individual rewards will be provided to top contributors at the end of each round and total energy gains can be tracked on the leader board. You can also view the results of each campaign and round on our global battlegroup campaign page.

During the 'Perplexity Machine' campaign, the recently introduced Animator High Command and Architect Battle Control dominators work the same way as during previous week's 'Academic Pride' campaign.

As before, the same rules that apply to regular dominators, such as recharging, health values, harvesting, as well as energy & experience gains, will also apply to these new Academy summoned dominators.

    Thank you GA for NOT listening to the community regarding the AHC and ABC doms and keeping them in the game. Pretty soon there will not be a community left.

    If this is truely for low level benefit, and you guys are insistent on not removing them completely then please consider the following idea: Make them only spawnable and visible to players under level 6. Once they have reached 6 the priority should be to use beacons and start to take over their area and branch out internationally and meet many new mages and these auto dominators should no longer spawn for them as there are plenty of enemy dominators to destroy once one has reached out socially. As well for the time being, to make things more tolerable until a solution is met, please fix the bug that makes them spawn whenever somebody completes a mission in the area, regardless of their physical location.

    Also generally this community isn't very active on the forums, only a handful of us are, if any of you bothered to check the actual game you will find nobody really likes these auto dominators, and the fact that this current amount of people are bothered enough to in response to this speaks volumes.

    I can think of one player who said something positive about them once, but then I only have 1000 friends. Maybe there are really a dozen people who like it!

    Yet, again, I say....quit with the vague answers and excuses. If you are trying to research data based on these doms...tell us what's going on! What are you researching and why is it so important to you? You act as if we're all incompetent children that wouldn't understand the complexity of your research reasons. By intentionally keeping your answers so vague and "politician like", you have completely offended me. See the last campaigns forum page for the rest of my thoughts.

    Nobody likes the random doms... get rid of them or you're gonna lose more respected higher level players who don't really want to leave, they just hate the game now.

    Please GA....Ive been a loyal player since I fist started on the 4 houses campaign. It is really getting boring - and thats what is dumbing down your community. I also used to buy pots but now I feel there is no reason. There is an overall lack of enthusiasm from the community and you should really add some incentives for players to continue...or we will leave. And yes, you do need US-every single player should matter to you. I am still a fan but fading fast into the abyss of other games and apps-.... -to be continued TheBaron

It's the only thing that makes sense. Why piss of your loyal base who spends money on this game for some dumb idea that totally makes the game unplayable.

    I don't think it would make sense for them to get rid of old players. They want numbers and revenue. Sadly, I think they're taking old players for granted while trying to find ways to improve retention of new players, and based on the people I've seen leaving I think that's a bad decision.

    If you want to test these changes out, why don't you have a beta server for people that WANT to be guinea pigs to play on?

    Agreed, Sempre. I even volunteered for such testing months ago. GA seems to be satisfied with their internal test environment. I believe this to be a mistake. On a side note, this campaign's medal is goofy-looking.

    This is ridiculous. We're losing players left and right, and the game has been slow and boring ever since you introduced these. What's the point of asking for our opinions if you're just going to completely disregard them? If anyone on the team actually played the game the way we do, you'd understand how stupid this is. I'm sitting out until ABCD/AHCDs are removed.

    Seems the only perplexing machine here is the player base. At least, unless you're a part of said machine. Then it makes perfect sense.

    We are the beta unfortunately, which I do not understand. I haven't earned over 1K since this AHCB started. I log on and check missions, chat and leave. Depressing really. A up and coming game company relies on the user based opinion, but our voices are not heard. Very strange business plan. Fully expecting no comment back from GA, and if so, a paragraph on information that's irrelevant and does not benefit us.

    I guess everyone has failed to notice that there is actually something NEW and at least somewhat exciting such as the new "daily missions"?.. So far the ones I've seen aren't very challenging (ex. Harvest 7 doms, Earn 4 pots, etc.) but at least it's something else to do and a nice little daily bonus for playing and putting up with their little "test" with the doms. Anyway, trying to think positive and hope for a better future of the game.

    the daily missions are just slop from vfw theyre dropping here to try and distract you. the backbone of this game is already gone and unlikely to come back no matter what they do. i havent bought pots since they fucked our bgs up, even if they put the game back the way it was at that time i doubt id drop money on it knowing the asshatted decisions these cats make

    I continue to hate what these doms do to the game play. They mark my home base and then if I harvest, I will be wiped out everytime. Apparently I have 8 GWs. I like the daily mission but GA you continue to not listen to those of us who have stuck it out through all your nonsense. You have destroyed the team work we had at the beginning. People are so unhappy they are switching sides and there is no way to work as a team anymore. We have no control on how we want to play the game. I have cut my game play and eliminated purchasing pots. State battle groups were really the best gameplay that you ever really had. I couldn't wait to talk to friends and catch up. Now I post a status and it's gone from the list so fast, it's like I didn't post at all. If I want to talk to someone I have to pm them and hope they are on. I've been patient, but you do not listen to your players and you don't care what we think. I'm bored with the same old ideas and your reasoning for your changes. This was a 5 star *****game but not anymore.
