Full Moon Madness - Echo of Confusion

While the pale quiet glow of the moon offers clarity to some, the dull deceiving nature of its light, amidst the shadow, can also be cause for great confusion. Those who attempt to tap into the shadow’s echo during the full phase of the moon can even risk complete madness. Who among you will risk greater consequences as means to greater power during the ‘Full Moon Madness’ campaign?

The 'Full Moon Madness’ campaign will begin Monday, December 5 at approximately 10:00 AM PST and will run for one full week. Individual rewards will be provided to top contributors at the end of each round and total energy gains can be tracked on the leader board. You can also view the results of each campaign and round on our global battlegroup campaign page.

During the 'Full Moon Madness' campaign, we will continue to use the new regionally assigned US battlegroup arrangement that we used during last week's campaign, and will continue to monitor gameplay and feedback. More detailed information of these new battlegroups can found here.

Well I can say I'm deeply saddened by your lack of response to your gamers. We have been very clear what we think. I gave it a try but it didn't work. There are too many people in the battle group. If I add anymore friends I will not be able to play. Yesterday I must have had 20 high commands from Charlotte nc and the beacon wasn't available for me in Durham nc. I hope my friends know we tried to get there but we're blocked by the system. That makes building relationships mean nothing when you can't respond to your own state members. I am actively looking for another game to play. Most of my friends have quit and I'm not far behind. This was a good game until GA got greedy. The server is so slow that I gets kicked out every few minutes. Then the beacon will be gone or I have to shut down if I put up a new beacon to make it work.

It hasn't been successful in the "Midwest and Mountain" Frankenstein's monster battlegroup. It's nice if it works for others, but you guys have screwed us HARD.

Nor, in my opinion and that of many others, in the NE BG. I've spoken with a few people that don't mind the change, many that are neutral, and huge numbers who's feelings range from dislike to loathing. I can't remember a single player saying they actually like it.

Perhaps what GA is trying to succeed at is chasing away existing players? Or some other metric unrelated to player happiness.

I rather my old state BG, but South Central Regional is a tight race every round. It's a shame I can't keep up this pace forever. I'm getting burnt out. *sighs* I guess I'm not a "real competitor".

I agree with pretty much all that is said. It's ruining the game for more people than not. I also don't appreciate the attempts to dodge the issue by restating the same thing over and over again about the future development. Please pay attention to the people who play your games without us you are nothing. :(

... this is a Vampires fight Werewolves medal. The VfW medal is a SC one. This disappoints me most of all.

Seldon - If they are trying to drive away old players, it certainly seems to be working. I guess we are cramping their style.

I do not agree with the continuation of the Regional Battlegroups. Connecticut as a whole has voiced their concerns with the North East BG via status meetings, and subsequently many of our players have either stopped playing altogether or limited their play substantially until there is a solution to the problem. Originally there were too many players in Team Chat to coordinate anything without it disappearing. Now that people know that, Team Chat is dead silent. New mages aren't getting the help they deserve because communication is shared by too many people. Connecticut is keeping up its team unity but we are finding it hard to create a sense of unity across state lines. I know a handful of very active Mages from most of the surrounding NE states who feel the same way. The Orange win in the NE during Round 2 of the previous campaign will be the last time the inner circle of CT Architects rally the troops until we have our State Group back.

I am in complete agreement with Jaycen; there are real reasons this isn't being viewed as successful by many. I still consider myself a fairly new player, but I am SO glad I started playing while we had state battlegroups so I was able to form good connections with other mages near me. This is a social game, or it was, but these very large groups detract from that. When we were in smaller groupings team chat and cross team chat were great for getting to know other players, and perhaps more relevantly, learning strategies and tricks. Another social side of the game was local rivalry and really it looks like all of that is dead except in the major metro areas. I honestly don't care as much as some do about the scores. It's frustrating to see defeated attitudes on the Architect side since I am coming from a decidedly orange state, but as I've said in in-game statuses before, I could have easily been on the other side of that. Unfortunately, with the consolidated battlegroup changes, I don't even see our formerly active green players trying anymore either. To say the regional groupings have proved successful is at lease a little disingenuous. At the very least I think we want to know if a final decision on groupings is still under review.
