   He said "as *we* wait for the next update to go live". The use of the word "we" intrinsically includes the speaker. The speaker, in this case, is an official representative of and spokesman for the Grey Area staff. If the Grey Area staff are waiting for the update to go live, it can be assumed that they've submitted it to Apple and are awaiting its approval. Therefore, the update is out of Grey Area's hands. In short, it's all Apple now. GA can't answer your question.

   Nothing new at all? Not even some kind of numbers challenge? Far be it for me to tell you guys what is best for Shadow Cities but honestly, I was hoping you'd give me a reason to keep playing. At the very least, I thought there might be a maintenance release on the client to address the crashing problems I've been having. Has the next update been submitted? Please drop some more hints about what is coming so that I'll have something to look forward to.

   Hyac, am I supposed to be reading some condescension into your response? Your speculation that "as we wait for the next update to go live" means that the update has been submitted is valid and hopeful but far from official. Even if that is true, are you suggesting that the specifics of this campaign will be changed once Apple approves the update? How would you even know? It seems just as likely that we're in a holding pattern for at least another week while the update is approved and this current campaign plays out. I'd like to know that for a fact from an authoritative source.

    No condescension intended, no, albeit my reply reads as if that was indeed the case. I merely thought you may have missed Chad's reply. But no, I'm not suggesting that the campaign's specific rules may change part-way through; and I don't really know where you see such an implication in my post. Such a change in rules would likely require mid-campaign server updates, which GA has assured us they intend to avoid at all costs. I would agree that we'll see nothing but energy-gathering races until the client update goes live. In fact, I speculated as much at the beginning of the *last* campaign.
