The latest Shadow Stories publication reveals that constant stops aren’t the only thing a modern mage should be concerned about when using public transportation. Thank you Journ of the Architects for reminding us how important it is to tread carefully in our newly ‘Awakened’ world.

Shadow Bus-ted by Journ, the Architect

I was on the bus on the way home, playing the game, hunting spirits, when an Animator mage appeared out of nowhere, and several levels higher than me too.   

Before I could react, his War Chant took me out with one shot.  Right afterwards, he taunted me in the cross-team chat channel: "I just got off your bus so I had to zap you!"

This was a scene right out of the game trailer on YouTube.  I now keep a careful eye on anybody I see on the bus with an iPhone.

    Actually, incidentally I go on the bus playing Shadow Cities on my Iphone :3

    I thought I should add to this that I was attending a museum grand opening of an exhibit and I popped in to see if there was any raid worthy stuff around and got into a quick battle with an animator mage who was extremely close. I hit him once and he logged off and I looked around really quick and saw a guy putting his phone away and going back to the museum with his family. I can't be sure it was him but he was the only guy with a phone out there.

    You said "bus". It goes for airports/-plains as well ;) Just returned from holliday and someone had his homebase right near Schiphol Airport. Kicked his last Dom from out of the airplain right before it took off (sorry Joozd, couldn't let it pass ;)
