The Awakened Path - Follow My Lead

The speed at which magic spreads does not go unnoticed by the Architects or Animators. The knowledge of power leads to a difficult path. It is clear that the time for change has arrived, as both academies eagerly seek to offer up new leaders. The time for change has come; Mages of the world must rise up to lead others on their ‘Awakened Path’.

The ‘Awakened Path’ campaign will begin Monday, July 18 at approximately 11:00 AM PDT and will run for one full week. Individual rewards will be provided to top contributors at the end of each round and total energy gains can be tracked on the leader board.

After the campaign we will also be rewarding Shadow Cities T-shirts to the 10 players who Awaken the most followers using the new recruitment feature available in this week’s update! More information on that soon!

    Does "awaken the most followers" mean that we not only have to recruit them but they have to reach level 15 "Awakened" during the campaign?

    Ditto, Relic. I've already convinced all my friends who can play (have an iOS device) to give the game a shot. Not much else I can do unless I start spamming my Twitter account I guess. :(

    agreed. please keep recruitment independent of any particular social media site, regardless of how well used it might be. i'm still ticked that i have to see the "path to awakening" mission still lurking on my screen. bah. now get off my lawn, you dang kids! [shakes fist]

    Could the spread of magic perhaps be referring to the help we give to others who are already here to help them along the path? There is some excellent work being done on that front already! Or perhaps it is the ways we connect to the outside world via projects that could bring others to play in our Shadow Cities? (It seems a bit curious that this campaign was launched before the update, considering that we need what is in the update before we can move forward with this campaign's objective.) That said, I want to thank the staff and developers for giving us such an excellent experience.

    You can recruit followers besides Facebook, Twitter and email basically wherever. Just copy paste the link from your Recruitment Campus View and you can share it anywhere in web. :)
