As we quietly yesterday released the Shadow Cities app onto the AppStore yesterday  it shot straight to #1 top grossing app in the Finnish App Store. The success was so abrupt that we hadn't have a proper help section up to at that point. Here's a few extra steps to guide you along the way.

The goal in the game:

• To own neighborhoods for your team and become the strongest Mage in your city.

To accomplish this you start by conquering your own neighborhood and hunt Spirits for experience. Of course its up to you to choose what neighborhoods you want to own and to identify with. Some are more sought after than others. Start with one and once the master, move to others helping your team to own as many as possible.

• Conquer the neighborhood for you and for your team by building Dominators to claim Energy Gateways.


• Improve and strengthen your Dominators with Heal-spells. This way you build a sturdy Dominator fortress to guard and protect the neighborhood Energy Gateways you have conquered with your team


• Destroy enemy Dominators to keep your neighborhood Energy Gateways clear of the opposition.


• Hunt Spirits and gain experience to unlock new and more powerful spells.

Each week the two teams battle for global supremacy in weekly Campaigns. The team with the most energy wins the week. Each member of the winning team receives the week’s unique Campaign medal. The team that wins most of the 52 Campaign weeks running throughout the year will dominate the cities of the world. Literally.

Gather Energy by:

• Harvesting friendly Dominators …rogue mages will Harvest team's other members Dominators as well.

• Donating captured spirits.

The amount of energy you collect during the week determines what kind of medal you will receive if your team wins. The mages with the most energy in the team ranks will get the best rewards.
